These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as these "Terms") are the terms between you (an individual, company, or any other entity) and Snapmaker (see description in “About Snapmaker” section).
About Snapmaker
The Snapmaker entities responsible for “深圳快造科技有限公司” (Shenzhen Kuaizao Technology Co., Ltd.) and SNAPMAKER HK LIMITED, an affiliate incorporated in Hong Kong SAR, China (collectively referred to as "Snapmaker", "we", "us", or "our").
These Terms of Use applies when you purchase and/or use the following products or services:
- Snapmaker Websites (such as snapmaker.com, Snapmaker Store);
- Snapmaker products, materials, and accessories ("Snapmaker Devices");
- Snapmaker Software, such as Snapmaker Luban and Snapmaker Orca.
- Other customer services provided by Snapmaker ("Snapmaker Services").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Snapmaker websites, devices, software, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Account Registration and Security
- When creating an account on Snapmaker websites, you are responsible for providing accurate information and maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account details.
- You are not permitted to share your account with others or use it for unlawful or unauthorized purposes. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach involving your account.
3. Use of Snapmaker Products and Services
3.1 Snapmaker Websites
- Snapmaker websites, such as snapmaker.com and Snapmaker Store, provide product information, online purchasing, and user support. By using the websites, you agree not to engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or disruptive activities.
- Snapmaker reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate parts of the websites at any time without prior notice.
3.2 Snapmaker Products ("Snapmaker Devices")
- Snapmaker Devices include our 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, materials, and accessories. When purchasing and using these devices, you agree to follow the user instructions, warranty policies, and applicable local laws.
- You agree to use the devices legally and safely, following all instructions, and not to use the devices for any illegal or prohibited purpose.
- Refer to the [Warranty Policy] for details on product warranties. We provide warranties to the extent permitted by law and may impose reasonable limitations on device usage.
3.3 Snapmaker Open-Source Software
- Snapmaker provides open-source software such as Snapmaker Luban and Snapmaker Orca, governed by applicable open-source licenses.
- Please review the license terms included with each software package, which dictate your rights and obligations.
- While the software is open-source, you agree to comply with Snapmaker’s hardware usage terms and not misuse the software in violation of license agreements.
- The software cannot be sold, transferred, or used for any other commercial purposes.
3.4 Snapmaker Customer Services ("Snapmaker Services")
- Snapmaker offers a range of customer services, including technical support and product warranty. By using these services, you agree to abide by these Terms and use the services responsibly.
- Snapmaker reserves the right to discontinue or deny services in cases of misuse or violation of the Terms.
4. User-Generated Content
By posting content on Snapmaker’s websites, you confirm that you own the rights to the content and grant Snapmaker a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to copy, modify, publish, and distribute the content for operational purposes. The content you post must not infringe upon others’ intellectual property or contain inappropriate material. Snapmaker reserves the right to remove or block any content deemed inappropriate.
5. Intellectual Property
- Snapmaker owns or has licenses to all content on its websites, product designs, software, trademarks, and other intellectual property. Unless expressly permitted in writing by Snapmaker, you may not use, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Snapmaker’s intellectual property for commercial purposes.
- For Snapmaker open-source software, you may exercise your rights as defined by the open-source licenses, but you may not infringe upon Snapmaker’s trademarks or intellectual property. The Snapmaker name or logo cannot be used for commercial promotion without permission.
6. Orders and Payments
- All orders and payments made on the Snapmaker Store must be processed through authorized payment channels.
- You are responsible for providing accurate payment details during checkout. Any fraudulent orders or payments will be subject to legal action.
- The return policy is implemented in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the country/region of purchase. For details, refer to the Snapmaker’s Refund Policy.
7. Warranty Policy
- Snapmaker provides limited warranties for its devices. For details, refer to the Warranty Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
- YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. NEITHER SNAPMAKER, ITS LICENSORS OR AFFILIATES NOR THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS. THERE IS NO WARRANTY BY SNAPMAKER OR BY ANY OTHER PARTY THAT THE FUNCTIONS CONTAINED IN THE PRODUCT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE PRODUCT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR THE SELECTION OF THE PRODUCT TO ACHIEVE YOUR INTENDED RESULTS AND FOR THE INSTALLATION, USE AND RESULTS OBTAINED FROM IT.
- YOU FURTHER CONFIRM THAT DURING THE PRINTING, CALIBRATION AND OPERATION OF THE DEVICE, IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO STRETCH BODY PARTS OR OBJECTS INTO THE DEVICE TO AVOID THE POTENTIAL RISK OF SCALD AND PINCH INJURY. YOU SHALL BEAR ALL THE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RISKS OF PERSONAL INJURY OR EQUIPMENT INJURY CAUSED THEREBY.
9. Limitation of Liability
- SNAPMAKER WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PRODUCT USE PROBLEMS CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, OR UNAUTHORISED MODIFICATION.
- TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SNAPMAKER, ITS EMPLOYEES, LICENSORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES, DATA OR COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION OR FOR ANY SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, ECONOMIC, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER ARISING UNDER CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF SNAPMAKER OR ITS LICENSORS OR AFFILIATES ARE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL SNAPMAKER'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES (OTHER THAN AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN CASES INVOLVING DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM SNAPMAKER'S NEGLIGENCE) EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR SNAPMAKER PRODUCT.
- The laws of some countries/regions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties, guarantees or liabilities. If such laws apply to you, all or part of the exclusions or limitations described herein may not apply to you and you may have additional rights. Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights that you are always entitled to as a consumer and which you cannot contractually agree to alter or waive.

Snapmaker respects your privacy, and your personal data will be collected, processed, and protected in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. By using Snapmaker’s services, you agree to the use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The validation, interpretation, modification, fulfilment, and dispute settlement of these Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If any dispute arises concerning the content or performance of these Terms, the dispute shall be settled through friendly negotiation. In the event that the dispute cannot be settled through negotiation, either party could submit the dispute to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) for arbitration which shall be conducted in accordance with the CIETAC's arbitration rules in effect at the time of applying for arbitration.
12. Modifications to the Terms
Snapmaker reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Snapmaker websites or communicated to you via email. Continued use of Snapmaker’s products or services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
